This technology tracks live (as well as historical) sites that have multiple extension redirects from other countries.
Redirects can potentially tell certain things -
- The website has multi-country presence
- The website has strong brand protection
- The website is multi-lingual
TLD redirects are only counted for the root level of a top level domain i.e. example.jp redirecting to example.com and only for ccTLD country code domains like jp,uk,au,nz etc. and excludes gccTLDs like tv,me,ws,io etc..
